Can Anyone survive Nancy Grace?
I'll be the first one to admit, I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with Nancy Grace. I find it intriguing that a show exists, where if you are a guest, you are most certainly going to be verbally attacked, insulted or cut off in mid-sentence so many times that you have virtually no chance of getting across a point that diagrees with Nancy. The premise of the show is admirable, I guess, in the fact that it keeps the public aware of missing children, unsolved murders etc, etc. On the other hand, i've never seen a show that actually has a "rush to judgement" feel to it. Nancy, literally "tries" the case in her own mind, pronounces judgement and won't even listen to defense attorney's who try to make a point,' about a point of law', as to why the police or courts can or can't proceed in a certain way. I recently witnessed a defense attorney storm off the show, after a heated exchange with Nancy, a wise decision, since I think she was about to have him removed, but he was simply trying to do what it is you hire a defense attorney to do, DEFEND YOU! Apparently, we need Nancy Grace to tell us whether a person is guilty or not. Why not get rid of the trial all together? Let Nancy decide! She seems to be all knowing. Now, from what I've seen lately, the only people left as guests or opinion givers, are either looking for publicity for themselves or so scared of Nancy's wrath that they wouldn't dare disagree i.e "Yes-Men/Women". One in particular is so blatant about it that you wonder if she has an original thought rolling around in her bespectaled cranium. She essiantially just shouts out what her master has just said, changing a were here and there. I often wonder if Nancy is bi-polar, she can go from 0-60 in a split second, with a mood change. Just another random thought about Nancy, I think it was probably a good thing she had twins, some mothers in the animal kingdom have been known to eat their young, but being a lawyer herself, she probably realized someone might notice one of them missing ha! I welcome any comments you have about Her Majesty! And I'll continue to tune in to her show occasionally, just to see the 2 or 3 minutes of ACTUAL NEW DEVELOPEMENTS, in the Caylee Anthony case. Which leaves me with my final thought, "why can't she say that poor little girls name correctly"?
